Please note that price includes 10% booking fee which we now have to charge to match tickets sold through the Troxy website, but the advantage of booking here means the COS get to keep the booking fee. Do you remember Music While Your Work?. Whether you do or don’t, this concert will be a real throwback to the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and will feature music all written by British composers, some of who were cinema organists in the heyday. The music will be played by Richard Hills, who excels in making the Wurlitzer sounds almost like the full bodied orchestra of yesteryear and his stunning technique will bring this music to life. The forgotten genre of Light Music returns to Troxy and if you are a lover of music this event will not disappoint! So come hear Troxy Wurlitzer LIVE in concert where the building comes to life with wonderful music!
Description
Everyone is welcome to our concerts, however Cinema Organs Society members benefit from a saving on the ticket price. Tickets will not be posted, but will be available for collection at the Troxy Box Office on the day of the concert.
Note to members: Your membership must be valid at the time of the concert otherwise you may be asked to pay full price.
