Opera Returns to Troxy

Tickets will be available at the door, but Pre-booking gives a small discount. Please note that price includes 10% booking fee which we now have to charge to match tickets sold through the Troxy website, but the advantage of booking here means the COS get to keep the booking fee. Also included is £1.20 Troxy Restoration Levy, which again we have to charge, further details of which can be found here

After Troxy stopped showing films in the 1960’s the building became a rehearsal space for major operatic production. We are delighted to announce the sound and style of the opera will return to Troxy as soprano Rosie Laverly is accompanied by Aarorn Hawthorne on the Troxy Wurlizter.

The ginger Soprano Rosie is a Britten Pears and Dewar Arts Young artist 2020/21 and recipient of the prestigious Salomon Seelig Musicians’ Award 2020. Aaron Hawthorne is the winner of the 2019 international Young Theatre Organist Competition and current holder of the Iain Sutherland Award.

Hear the sounds of soprano and Wurlitzer – a combination NOT to be missed.
